New and Improved Replacement Switch Cover for cool shot button on the Silence HP Hair Dryer.
Your new Silence HP already comes with one. This is a replacement in case yours is ever lost or if you have the older rubber button and would like to replace it.
If you have the older rubber button that looks like this:
Twist it off by turning it to the left. Under it there will be a tiny Philips screw that you will need to remove with a small Philips screwdriver.
After that is removed, screw on the silver collet, then screw in the black push switch till they are hand tight.
If your button or collet is lost you can simply twist on the new parts. Twist on the silver collet first until it is hand tight, then place the black button into the collet and twist until tight.
If you would like to secure the black button so it is less likely to come off, you can place a small drop if glue on the brass screw part before twisting it in.
